Steve Madison, President
Steve Madison, President, is based out of the corporate
office in Brainerd, MN. His industry background includes
both management and ownership of hotels and restaurants.
He has 20 years of experience in lodging and restaurant
operations and took his first general manager position
at the age of twenty one.
Steve was once a trainer for new owners and managers for
a national limited service brand. He was also a general
manager at several full service lodging properties
before becoming involved in multi-unit operations. Steve
has directed the purchase and sale of several lodging
and other real estate properties.
His responsibilities include oversight of the the
operations of all areas of the management company. In
addition, he is the owner or lead principal of several
properties that the management company currently
operates.
Steve has received his CHA designation and has also
served on the Board of the Minnesota Hotel Association
and several convention and visitor's bureaus. |

William T. Schultz, Vice President
Bill Schultz, Vice President and Partner, is based out
of Alexandria, MN. His responsibilities include hotel
operational and sales support, strategic planning, new
hotel development, renovation, management contracts, and
acquisitions.
Bill has 22 years of hospitality experience, including
positions with the Ramkota Companies/Regency Inns
management, Morrison Incorporated/Ruby Tuesday and Kamps
Craven Partnership. While involved with all of these
companies, Bill held various positions in every facet of
the hotel operations and casual dining restaurant
operations from the General Manager position on down.
Since 1998, Bill has been responsible for multi-unit
operations for the Madison Hospitality Group, LLC and
Madison Properties, Inc. which include franchises of
Holiday Inn, Best Western, Choice, AmericInn as well as
independent resort and boutique locations.
Bill attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and
Restaurant Management. Bill has taken an active role
within his community, including President of the
Alexandria Lodging Tax Association, Advisory Committee
for the Alexandria Technical College, and Executive
Board member for the Chamber of Commerce |

Kirk J. Schultz, Vice President
Kirk Schultz, Vice President and Partner, is based out
of Stillwater, MN. His responsibilities include hotel
and restaurant operations, new hotel development,
renovation, management contracts, acquisitions and
strategic planning.
Kirk has over 30 years of hotel and restaurant
experience. He has been responsible for operating
several hotels and restaurants as well as multi-unit
management. His leadership experience includes a wide
array of properties and leading brands: full service,
limited service, water parks, extended stay, independent
and economy hotels along with casual theme and family
dining restaurants.
Brand experience with InterContinental Hotels (Holiday
Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites), Hilton
(Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites),
Choice (Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn), as well as
experience with independent resort and boutique
locations.
Kirk's experiences prior to joining the Madison
Hospitality Group include 14 years with Torgerson
Properties, Inc., a leading franchisee in Minnesota and
Florida. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice
President and was a member of the Board of Directors.
New hotel openings, repositioning properties, renovation
programs and implementation of comprehensive,
property-specific business and marketing plans are also
part of his background.
Kirk graduated from the University of Minnesota with a
degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Active within
his community, he is a member of civic organizations and
Past President of the Minnesota Lodging
Association. |
